Our New Administrator

Say hello to the new face at FCRCC: Sheryll Dale.

Sheryll is our new Club Administrator, taking over in the office from Laurel Rogers, who has done such an excellent job there for the last several years.

(You'll still see Laurel around the office, over the first part of December to help Sheryll get up to speed, and after that on a fill-in basis.  And you'll see her on the water too ... one of the hard-working One West crew, in DBs & OC6.  Make sure you give her a big thanks for her work for our Club!)

Sheryll is responsible for all the myriad of administrative details involved in the day-to-day running of FCRCC:

• answering the phone & handling our mail
• membership, storage & other forms
• data entry & mailing list maintenance
• receiving payments & paying bills
• making boat reservations (coach boats, multi-boat bookings of the small boats)
• SBC & Orientation registration
• inquiries from Members and the general public
• and so on.

Her professional background is in Health Information Management; she has a Diploma in Technology from BCIT and a Degree in Communications from SFU.  She's worked in that field for over twenty-five years.

She has extensive experience with non-profit organizations, as an active member of National and Provincial professional associations.  She's volunteered at DB Regattas, and as an assistant & Coach in DB programs at schools.

When she's not working, Sheryll is an enthusiastic and committed paddler ... in Dragon Boats with The Eh Team, and in Outrigger with the HULIgans.
