There are still some of the nice & bright 360° Navigation Lights available - the ones the club purchased a batch of last year.

They attach to the boat via a suction cup.

It's getting dark earlier & earlier these days (even when there's no rain-clouds), as ol' Mr. Sun makes his way to the annual rendezvous with the Tropic of Capricorn , in ~2 months time.

Plus, Daylight Savings ends real soon (Nov 1st, 2 AM!) - so unless you get to paddle mid-day during the week, you need a good, bright light on the boat when you're out paddling.

Remember that everything else on the water is bigger than you are (well OK, maybe not the harbour seals), so Be Seen Is Be Safe(er)!

And anyway, it's the law! (scroll down to "Human-Powered Boats - Rule 25" in the Nav Lights table)

As well as a club rule - see Paddling in the Dark.

$25, at the office.  Please make it easy for Laurel ... pay with a cheque made out to FCRCC.
