FCRCC Outrigger Men To Race In Hawaii
The Queen Liliuokalani (Kona) Long Distance Canoe Race, on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, will be the target race for the FCRCC Men's Outrigger program in 2010.
This OC-6 Iron is held on Saturday, September 4th (Labour Day long weekend), followed by OC-12 (double-hull) races on Sunday.
This
is one of the largest and most competitive OC-6 races in the world, with
over 100 crews participating. The town of Kona transforms itself into Canoe Town to accommodate the many paddlers.

The FCRCC Men's Outrigger program encourages all paddlers who wish to race in Hawaii to come out to the training sessions:
- Tuesday 6:00 PM
- Thursday 6:30 PM
- Sunday 9:00 AM
(all times are on-the-water, & note that days will change to Mon/Wed/Sat sometime in the Spring)
