Individual Membership
Individual memberships are for people interested in training for competitive racing in dragon boat, outrigger or flatwater.
Benefits
Boats & Equipment
Members may use the Club's boats (subject to meeting the relevant Orientation rules) and other equipment (paddles, PFDs, ERG machine), apply to join any of the Club's Dragon Boat, Outrigger and Flatwater Programs, represent the Club at races, and take any Orientation & SBC sessions offered. Use of boats & joining Programs is free, although programs generally have fees to cover coaching and other expenses. Orientations are free; SBCs typically have a small fee.
A key to the Club's storage areas is provided to all Individual Members, allowing access to all Club boats and equipment.
False Creek Community Centre
Members may use the FCCC's change rooms, lockers, showers & saunas, and get discounts on the user fees in the FCCC's Fitness Centre
Members can rent FCCC meeting rooms at reduced rates, if the rental is done through the Club Office.

Fees
Adults
19 years of age or over as of December 31st:
- Full year (October 1st - September 30th): $275 ($250 if paid on or before November 15th)
- If joining FCRCC for the first time, or if a former Member 2 or more years ago:
- $250 if joining on or before December 31st
- $25 per month left in the the year, if joining between January 1st and July 31st. For example, $225 in January, $200 in February, and so on.
- $50 if joining in August or September
There is a 20% discount for full time Students (valid Student ID must be provided)
Junior
Under 19 years of age as of December 31st: $125
Youth Flatwater
For students 14+ years of age (or with previous experience) who would like to paddle flatwater regularly (see Youth Flatwater for details): $50/month
Associates
For adults who cannot train regularly at False Creek, but who wish to practice & race with a False Creek team (in any discipline): $150. See the Associate Membership Policy page for details, and the application form.
Trial Membership
A one-month Trial membership is available, for $50. All Member benefits (see above) are included, except a key to the storage areas. If joining the Club at the end of the Trial period, the fee will be credited towards the applicable Membership fee.
How to Join
Please download and print out the Individual Membership form.
- Fill out the form (please be sure to sign the Waiver). Note: if you are under 19 years of age, the signature of a parent or legal guardian is needed.
- Bring the form with a payment for the appropriate membership type to the Club office during normal hours (see Office Hours section on the home page).
- Review the Club Orientation Information.
