We welcome all paddlers to join our club as individual members, or as part of a team.
Individual Membership
Individual memberships are for people interested in training for competitive racing in dragon boat, outrigger or flatwater.
Members may use the club's boats, join the club's dragon boat and outrigger programs, and represent the club at races. Use of boats & joining programs is free (although programs generally have fees to cover coaching and other expenses).
Adult Members
For people 19 years of age or over as of Dec 31st:
- Full year (Oct 1 - Sep 30): $260 or $240 if paid before November 15th
- For new paddlers to FCRCC, membership will be pro-rated at $20/month ($50 minimum)
- 20% discount for full time students (student ID must be provided)
Junior Members
For people under 19 years of age as of December 31st: $125
Youth Flatwater Limited Membership
For students +14 years of age (or with previous experience) who would like to paddle flatwater regularly (see Youth Flatwater for details): $50/month
Associate Members
For adults who are members of other clubs or train primarily at another location and cannot train regularly at False Creek (e.g. they live outside the Lower Mainland of BC), but who wish to practice & race with a False Creek team (DB or OC6): $150

Community DB Memberships
Community DB memberships are for dragon boat teams looking to access dragon boats and some of the club's small boats. For information on the fees and privileges of this type of membership, see the Dragon Boat Membership page.
If you are looking to join a dragon boat team, please see the recruiting message board to find teams looking for paddlers, or to post some information about yourself. You should also check out the club's High Performance DB team, and look at the team info of some of the many Community DB teams who paddle out of FCRCC.
Full Member DB Team
DB teams which would like access to all the club's small boats and OC6s can do so by following the full member dragon boat team guidelines.
