Thank you for your registration with the 2009 FCRCC Spring and DragonZone Junior Regattas (May 24th, 2009). The race grid can be viewed here.
We are looking forward to a fun day of racing and hope that you all enjoy this event! With the regatta fast approaching, I wanted to send you some details about the event to help you plan:
1) The FCRCC Spring Regatta will be held in conjunction with the Dragon Zone Junior Regatta (junior teams), but adult teams will only race other adult teams.
2) Event will be held at DragonZone on the East Side of False Creek (details below). There is some construction going on in that area, so when you team arrives, please check with the organizers to get an area map and for directions on where to set up your tent.
3) Upon arrival, please sign your team in at the registration table and pick up your team package. If you have not mailed in a signed waiver, please make sure to submit one at that time. Teams will not be allowed to race without the signed waiver! Each team must submit a team roster.
4) Each team will have 4 race of 500 m during the day.
5) Here is the preliminary schedule for the day:
07:30 - 09:00 Registration
09:00 - 10:15 Qualifiers

6) Please make sure to let us know if you require a steersperson so we can try to arrange one for you.
7) FC paddlers for loan. FC paddlers can be on loan only if you do not have sufficient paddlers available (as indicated on your roster), limit two per boat, chosen at random. Availability is not guaranteed and may change throughout the day. If you so require the assistance of FC paddlers, a note will be made beside your team results. Please let us know ASAP if you require paddlers, but only if you do not have sufficient paddlers for race day.
8) Potable water will be provided so bring your own bottles.
