Kelli at Vancouver Ocean Sports stepped up to do Lead Stroke for Santa's Flotilla this year.

She thought it would be a great idea to get lots of people together from different teams/clubs for a Santa Paddle.

And also a great way to promote the sport of paddling for passers-by.

Look for folks from Jericho, Pac Reach, VOS, FCRCC, DZ & ??? ...

When: December 19th ~9 AM

Where: Start at Burrard, head into the Creek, meet up with other boats at Alder Bay (~9:30), then on to Science World.

What: any boat will do, dragon boat, OC6, solos

Make this an opportunity to donate to the Food Bank - organize your gang to gather as many non-perishable items for them as you can.

And $$$ too!

We're crossing fingers and toes for a clear, mild day.

If you have a coffe urn ot two, prep it & bring it along - a nice hot coff' (or even better, hot choc!) after a cold paddle 'ud sure be nice, no?
